As some of you know, our mom recently underwent open-heart surgery to replace her mitral valve. She is incredibly strong and doing well, and we are so thankful that she will be going home from the hospital soon! That being said, she is EXHAUSTED, and her doctor said to expect that for the next couple of weeks. She is also unable to do much with her arms while her sternum heals. Mom always wants to make sure everyone else is taken care of, so we thought we could ease some of her worry by helping with dinners for her and Kaylee over the next week or so. If you’d like to help, we would be so grateful for a meal, takeout, or a gift card ❤️ We are trying to limit her exposure to germs while she recovers, and she isn’t able to have long visits right now because of how tired she is, but if you’d like to visit rather than simply dropping off a meal, please let us know so we can coordinate a time that works for everyone. For the time being, she is on a low sodium diet, so please keep that in mind when preparing or choosing meals.
