On Wednesday, July 2nd, our dearest Helena Gil passed away. Helena fought a pancreatic cancer diagnosis in September of 2024. She rocked her surgery, recovery, and chemotherapy. In April of 2025, she prevailed and celebrated with spring gardening, lunches with her sisters and friends, a vacation, and dancing at a friend’s wedding. We didn’t have her long enough, and look forward to seeing her again someday. She will be missed beyond measure. Helena dedicated 100% of her time doing things for other people in her life, especially the people she loved. She was happiest when her family and friends were happy. Now is our time to honor her memory and wishes. Helena’s family will miss her incredibly, most notably her husband, Andrew Gil. With Helena’s passing, her greatest wish would be that her friends and family find peace. Our family’s wish is that Andrew continues to be loved and cared for in Helena’s passing.
