Hey y’all, As we get ready to bring our sweet baby girl, Clara Rose, home, our hearts are completely full—and honestly, our hands are going to be pretty full, too! To give you a little update, my delivery journey will include a complicated C-section, so my main job over the next few weeks is going to be resting, healing, and soaking up all those newborn snuggles. We’ve set up a Meal Train to help keep our crew fed and energized while I recover. If you have the time or avenue to whip up a favorite dish or send a favorite takeout meal our way, we would be incredibly grateful. More than anything, just knowing we have such an amazing village supporting us means the world. Thank you all so much for loving on our growing family!
P.S. We can’t wait for you all to meet her, but to keep our tiny girl safe while she builds her immune system, if you are sick or even slightly under the weather, please stay home and visit us when you’re 100% better! Also, because we have a fur baby, Hank, who takes his guard dog duties very seriously, please text us when you arrive instead of knocking or ringing the doorbell. We want to keep Hank calm and protect whatever precious sleep our little angel (and mom!) can get. Thank you guys for understanding!
