Love for Emily, support the Higgins family

Hello friends and family!! This page was created to surround Emily with love, prayer, encouragement, and practical support as she walks through this cancer journey. This is a challenging season, but she and her loved ones are holding onto their faith and trusting the Lord through each step. Her family and friends want her to know that she does not have to walk this road alone. This page is a way for her community to come together, to most importantly lift her up through prayer and to help ease everyday responsibilities so she can focus on healing, resting, and spending time with her family. Emily is a devoted mom to three beautiful girls, a loving wife, and most importantly, a passionate follower of Christ. Her family is her greatest blessing, and she strives to lead her home with love, grace, faith, and purpose. She is a kind-hearted woman who would do anything for anyone, always wiling to lend a helping hand, offer encouragement, or simply be there when someone needs her. She strives to walk like Christ in the way she lives; with grace, compassion, humility, and a genuine heart for others. Through every season of life she seeks to keep God at the center, cherish the little moments, and encourage others with the hope and joy found in Him. Emily just found out she is battling stage 2 breast cancer and facing a difficult season with physical, emotional, and practical challenges. She is deeply loved by her family and friends. Her faith continues to be a source of strength and hope. During this time, her loved ones are coming together to surround her with lots of prayer, love, encouragement, support, and trusting that God will continue to carry her through the days ahead. The most helpful support right now is what you feel the Lord is calling you to do, that makes day-to-day life a little easier and provides comfort. This may include meal deliveries/homemade meals, grocery assistance, gift cards, and thoughtful check-ins with words of encouragement. Most importantly, prayers are deeply appreciated. Prayers for healing, strength, peace, comfort, wisdom for her medical team, and continued faith throughout this journey mean more than words can express. Every act of kindness, whether big or small, is a beautiful reminder of the love and support surrounding Emily and the Higgins family.
