Love for the Linders

W
Story

On April 17th, we lost our daughter Lainey Bella Linder at 39 weeks. She was perfect. She was wanted. And she was here, for one beautiful, heartbreaking day, before we had to say goodbye. We are still in the thick of grief. But we are also already thinking about how to keep her close, how to honor her life, and how to create something living and lasting in her name. We are building Lainey Bella's Garden at our home, a sacred space designed to grow alongside our family, to grieve in, to heal in, and to feel her presence in. The garden will include: 🌳 Fruit trees - because she deserved a long, sweet life, and because watching something grow in her name feels like one small way to tend to her still. 💧 A statue or fountain - she will have a form and a presence in this space. 🪨 Stepping stones - so every visit feels intentional 🪑 Eventually, a bench - where we can sit in our feelings We are working with a landscape designer and a spiritual leader who specializes in sacred gardens and grief counseling to make this space as meaningful as it is beautiful. Lila, who was so ready to be a big sister, will grow up with this garden. She will know who Lainey was. She will pick fruit from her trees. She will sit on her bench. That matters deeply to us. If you would like to contribute to building this space, every dollar goes directly toward creating something real and permanent in Lainey's honor. There is no gift too small. We are so grateful for every person who has shown up for our family during the hardest season of our lives. Thank you for helping us grow something beautiful for our girl. 🤍 <3 Dena & David Linder
