Support Leia’s Fight Against Breast Cancer Leia has been diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer that is quickly growing. Because of the size and type, options are limited and surgery is crucial to prevent it from progressing. Leia is scheduled for surgery on June 4th to remove the cancer that they can and then will be undergoing treatments and a reconstructive procedure estimated at $20,000. On top of that, her medical bills have already exceeded $10,000. She will be out of work on unpaid leave for several weeks/months during recovery, placing a significant financial strain on her and her family.
