Penny is one of those people who shows up for everyone, no matter the circumstance. In October, her world shifted when her husband, Gary, suffered a stroke and required placement in a nursing home to receive the care he needs to recover. Now, in the midst of navigating Gary’s recovery, Penny is facing a major journey of her own. On January 26th, she will undergo open heart surgery and will have a long road of healing ahead. During this time, Penny will be balancing her own recovery while continuing to support and care for Gary.
