Our beautiful friend Melissa and her family would benefit from our love and support at this time. Melissa had brain surgery on Friday, March 6th to remove a tumor. She will need to take this time moving forward to recover and be with her family. To alleviate some of the day to day tasks that can be overwhelming let's respectfully give them their space but also provide help where we can. We have an amazing community and Melissa has done so much for so many here. Her heart is pure and we will show her, Jay, and their girls how much they mean to us.
Melissa does try to eat healthy and she does a lot of gluten free . When she returns home please keep her in mind. Let's start a few days a week to allow for time for left overs and to provide some space from visitors. Place meals in cooler outside. Melissa is a thoughtful friend. I thought maybe we could leave a card for her or anything special you want on your drop off day. Coloring books for the girls or anything that will bring happiness! Not necessary of course but just a thought! They shop at: Thistle, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods
