Give Cedric Stability & Hope — Urgent Housing Support Needed

Story

My name is Jonathan, and I’m fundraising for my brother Cedric. Cedric is a kind, sensitive, and loving person who has been living with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia for many years. Life became especially difficult for him after we lost our mother and our older brother — grief changed him in ways that are hard to describe, and maintaining stability has been an ongoing challenge ever since. He truly wants to work. He wants independence. He wants dignity. But mental-health struggles and financial hardship have made it extremely hard for him to stay steady on his own. Recently, things reached a breaking point. Cedric went to court for eviction — and unfortunately, he lost. He now has until the 29th of this month to move out. At the same time, he has had trouble maintaining income because transportation and logistics have always been barriers. To help stabilize him, I made sure he now has access to a car — so transportation is no longer the issue. What he needs right now is a safe place to land so he doesn’t end up displaced while trying to rebuild. We are raising funds to help cover: ✔️ Temporary housing so Cedric does not become homeless ✔️ Basic living essentials while he stabilizes ✔️ Support for his mental-health needs ✔️ A path toward safe, consistent employment My family has been doing everything we can, but we have reached the point where we simply cannot do this alone anymore. Cedric deserves stability. He deserves compassion. And most importantly — he deserves to feel like he has not been forgotten. This fundraiser isn’t about handouts — it’s about hope, structure, and stability for someone who has been fighting a mental-health battle while trying to survive grief and hardship. If you can give — no matter the amount — it will make an immediate impact because of the deadline he is facing. If you cannot donate, sharing this means more than you know. Thank you for reading, caring, and believing in people who are still trying — even when life has made it hard. With love, Jonathan & Family

Special Notes

Cedric has been through so much — losing our mother, losing our brother, and managing bipolar disorder and schizophrenia — and while our family continues to support him emotionally and spiritually, this moment requires more than we can provide alone. Important Note: Cedric currently has very limited cell data and can’t reliably use apps or manage online accounts. Because of that, he isn’t able to run a fundraiser himself. I (Jonathan, his brother) am overseeing this campaign and will make sure funds go directly toward housing, essentials, and stabilizing support. We’re keeping everything transparent and accountable.
