Story
After over 30 years of being a nurse and taking care of others, I have just learned that I now have a battle to fight to live. My best friend told me about this page that allows someone like me to let people know how I am doing without answering multiple calls, texts etc. I think this is a beautiful way to communicate with my friends and family without the stress of feeling pressured to explain the story multiple times. I am not here to ask for pity. This is to allow me the dignity and grace to ask if I need help watching my animal, or even just asking for a shoulder to lean on while I absorb this news. I have always been independent and plan to remain that way as long as I can.
Special Notes
Please- If offering meals, do not include shellfish. LOL I don't want to be sicker than I already feel! If you come to see me, make it light and fun. Of course, there may be tears, but I am all about making each day count and want to spend the rest of my days as happy as I can. Bring a smile!
