** Please read the notes, especially at the bottom, to ensure we are respectful of the Siler's wishes during this time. Thank you! ** Feeding the Silers supports the Siler family, Eli, Rachel, and new baby Owen, while they celebrate the birth of their sweet boy! During this time of joy and excitement, the Siler family is also suffering the loss of a furry member of their household, Apollo. These two events are creating quite the roller coaster of emotions for our dear friends, as well as a confusing and chaotic beginning to a new chapter in their lives. As of now, there are opportunities set up for gifting the family with meals: breakfast, lunch, or dinner. You may feel free to bring Eli and Rachel a homemade meal, food from a restaurant, or send care in the form of a food delivery service (DoorDash) or a gift card as listed on the service. ** Please follow these instructions, as requested by the Siler family: Send a text to Rachel &/or Eli TWO DAYS prior to your scheduled gift so they may plan their own meals and schedules accordingly. Please ask their preference on HOW to be notified when you arrive with/ drop off the food (a phone call, text message, knocking, or doorbell) to be mindful of sleep schedules and possible disturbances. ** When notifying them of your delivery plans, you may tell the family where you will be going to pick up the meal and ask for their orders, or check that the meal you plan on supplying meets their dietary preferences. ** Most importantly, we do not want to tire the Silers with constant visitors and deliveries, so note that the AVERAGE of meals delivered in a time like this is 3 meals a week. Be sure to consider this before overwhelming them. (Note: As people sign up to bring things, I will delete requests for other meals of the same day.)
Please ask Eli &/or Rachel if you are unsure of your meal choices, delivery times, ability to visit, etc. especially if you are sick. Do not show up unannounced.
