In August 2025 my doctor found cancer during a regularly scheduled procedure in my esophagus. Further testing indicates that it is neuroendocrine carcinoma with small cell features. This is an incredibly rare, aggressive, and fast growing cancer that requires immediate attention before it metastasizes somewhere else in the body.
