Hello, wonderful people! I’m reaching out for support as I prepare for a myomectomy surgery on March 6, 2026. This procedure is to remove fibroids, which have been causing me discomfort and other health issues. It’s similar to a C-section, and my full recovery will take about six weeks. The first two weeks are especially crucial, and I would be incredibly grateful for any help during this time. How You Can Help: 1. Meals: I will not be able to cook for myself so a nice home cooked and/or healthy take-out meal would be very helpful. 2. Companionship: Having someone to keep me company, whether it’s watching movies, chatting, or just hanging out, would mean the world to me. 3. Check-Ins: Simple check-ins to see how I’m doing would be so appreciated. 4. Advice: Since I’ve never had major surgery before, I welcome any tips or advice from those who have been through it. 5. Contributions: If you’re unable to drop by in person, gift cards or items from my wish list would also be a huge help. Thank you so much for your kindness and support during this journey. Your generosity means everything to me!
I follow a dairy-free, pork-free, and mostly gluten-free, anti-inflammatory diet. Light, nourishing meals that aren’t too heavy or fried would be wonderful. I’ll be staying at a close friend’s house in SE and they are fine with me having visitors. Just be mindful this is a no shoes home. Please utilize the Care Calendar to select which day/time you’re available to come by.
