Update on Steph and our sweet baby girl: As of 9:25pm our precious baby girl Emma Grace Lenora Hernandez passed away peacefully in both mine and Steph's arms. The c-section surgery went well and the baby was born at 5:52pm weighing 4lbs 11 oz. Baby Emma was breathing on her own however oxygen levels were not where they needed to be, but everyone was hopeful that that would improve. Things eventually did not improve and heart rate dropped significantly. She was not going to survive. (Later testing and xrays showed that her lungs were severely underdeveloped, unable to properly sustain life). I was immediately brought to Emma were I was able to do an emergency baptism. (One of the hardest things to do but also one of greatest gifts I could give my daughter). I brought Emma Grace to Steph and we just showered her with love and comfort as she slowly began to pass away in our arms. We thank God that we were able to at least have 4 hours with our baby girl. Our three children were able to see her and love on her as well. Thank you to everyone for the continued prayers. This has been an extremely difficult couple of years for the Hernandez family. A lot of loss and hurt. This is crushing
