Supporting Kuleara Through Breast Cancer Treatment

W
Story

Hi, I go by Kuleara. I am a 29-year-old wife and mother of two young daughters, including a newborn, and I am beginning treatment for breast cancer. My treatment plan includes dose-dense chemotherapy, followed by surgery and continued recovery. I am also healing postpartum and adjusting to caring for a newborn while managing appointments, treatment side effects, childcare, transportation, meals, laundry, and other household needs. I created this page so family, friends, podcast supporters, and others who feel led to help can easily see what support would be most useful. Assistance with meals, groceries, transportation, childcare, laundry, household necessities, baby supplies, and items from my cancer-treatment registry will help reduce the physical and financial strain on our family. I am calling this chapter of my testimony The Refiner’s Fire, not because this season is easy, but because I believe it will not destroy me. Every prayer, encouraging message, practical act of service, and contribution is sincerely appreciated.

Special Notes

Because I will be receiving chemotherapy and we also have a newborn, please do not visit if you are sick, recently exposed to illness, or experiencing any symptoms. Please arrange visits, childcare, deliveries, or other in-person help in advance rather than arriving unexpectedly. There may be days when I need quiet, rest, or limited contact because of treatment side effects. Fragrance-free or lightly scented products are preferred. Please do not send herbal remedies, supplements, detox products, or alternative cancer treatments unless they have been specifically approved by my oncology team. For privacy and safety, please do not publicly share our home address, appointment schedule, childcare locations, or other identifying family information.
