We are asking our community to come together in support of an incredible family going through an unimaginably difficult time. A devoted father of nine is currently in the ICU in New Orleans, courageously battling stage 4 colon cancer and undergoing emergency surgery. As you can imagine, this has turned life upside down for his children. One of the older brothers has stepped up in a remarkable way—traveling back and forth to be by his father’s side while also helping care for his siblings and keeping the family together. His strength is inspiring, but the weight he’s carrying is immense. At home, four of the younger children still need daily care, stability, and nourishment during this uncertain time. We would love to ease even a small part of this family’s burden by organizing a meal train to ensure the kids have warm, reliable meals while their father is away.
