Thank you for visiting this page and for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. Our beloved dad passed away on July 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on March 17, 1937 (St. Patrick's Day) and lived a beautiful life filled with faith, laughter, hard work, and unconditional love. To us, he was so much more than a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, father-in-law, uncle, co-worker, neighbor, teacher, classmate, coworker, friend, fisherman, and farmer. He was the heart of our family. A carefree soul with a contagious smile, an endless supply of jokes, and a servant's heart. He loved deeply, gave generously, and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like family. As we begin navigating this season of grief, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family and friends near and far. Messages, phone calls, prayers, meals, flowers, and kind words have reached us from across California, throughout the United States, Canada, and from loved ones in the Philippines. Knowing how many lives our dad touched has brought us so much comfort during this heartbreaking time. Many of you have asked how you can help, and because we know not everyone is able to be here with us in person, we created this page as a place to share updates and provide an opportunity for anyone who feels led to support our family. Whether that means sending a prayer, checking in on us, sharing a favorite memory of our dad, helping with meals, or contributing financially toward the many unexpected expenses that come with this season, every act of kindness is a tremendous blessing to our family. Please know there is absolutely no expectation or obligation to give. Your prayers, love, encouragement, and presence whether in person or from miles away are more than enough. We truly mean that. For those who have asked about financial support, a Venmo (@Leah-Corpuz) that is attached to this website or Zelle to Liwayway Ocampo or at (415)420-0756. If you would prefer to send a check, please send us a private message, and we will gladly provide our mom's mailing address. We are sincerely grateful for every gesture of kindness, no matter how big or small. We will continue to update this page with funeral and memorial service information as plans are finalized so that everyone who knew and loved our dad can celebrate the incredible life he lived. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for loving our dad and for walking alongside our family during this difficult season. We are grateful beyond measure for our village, our tribe, our family, our friends, and every person who has wrapped us in love, whether you are just down the road or across the world. We know our dad would be humbled by the incredible outpouring of love being shown to his family. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the stories we share, and the love he leaves behind. With love and heartfelt gratitude, The Family
