Evangeline arrived a little earlier than expected! She was born at 33 weeks via C-section last Thursday. Mom and baby are both doing well, but Evangeline will need to remain in the NICU for several weeks while she grows stronger. During this time, Thomas and Renee will be spending much of their time at the hospital and staying in nearby hotels, so gift cards to local restaurants will be especially helpful in the coming weeks. Because of Evangeline’s early arrival, they’ve also had some unexpected expenses related to lodging and travel, and many of the baby items they were planning to receive at their baby shower haven’t arrived yet.
