I wanted to start this page for my sister-in-law, Melissa Barefield. Melissa was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be having surgery and treatment starting on January 27 in San Antonio. She’ll have to be away from the children for an extended period of time and then when she’s back home, she will need time to rest and rehabilitate after the surgery. I’m asking for any support that you feel you are able to provide. Whether it is prayers, a home-cooked meal, a store-bought meal, gift cards, or any recommendations that might be helpful for her during this time if you personally or know someone who has gone through this and can offer any advice.
