Welcoming Baby Johnson

Story

We are so excited to welcome our second earthside baby, who is due November 18! As we prepare to become a family of four, we know the first few weeks will be filled with sleepless nights, lots of toddler adventures, and soaking up every precious newborn moment. One of the biggest ways you can support our family during this season is by helping provide meals. Having nourishing food ready to enjoy means we can spend less time cooking and more time focusing on our children and adjusting to this new chapter together. Whether you prepare a homemade meal, send takeout, or have something delivered, every act of kindness is deeply appreciated. Your generosity allows us to focus on healing, bonding, and settling into life with our newest little one. Thank you for loving our family so well. We are incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and prayers from our village, and we can't wait for you to meet our newest addition when the time is right.

Special Notes

Dietary Preferences * We do not eat seafood. * We appreciate meals that are nutrient-dense, easy to digest, and simple to reheat. Soups, stews, casseroles, pre-cooked proteins, and other comforting meals are especially appreciated. Hot, ready-to-eat meals or freezer-friendly dishes are wonderful as well. Visiting Guidelines We are not accepting visitors during the postpartum period. We want to protect our newborn during cold and flu season while giving ourselves the opportunity to heal, bond, and navigate life as a family of four with a toddler. We plan to wait until after Christmas before having visitors in our home. We truly appreciate everyone respecting this boundary, it means so much to us. If Mom and baby are sleeping, we will not be waking them to greet anyone. If they're awake when you stop by, Mom may come to the door with the baby to say a quick hello and wave from a distance. We appreciate your understanding that this will be brief as we prioritize rest and recovery. Please also understand that we won't be having anyone hold the baby during this time due to the amount of illness circulating. Thank you for helping us keep our little one safe while we enjoy these precious first weeks together. Thank you for helping us protect this special season. Your understanding, love, and support are gifts we will never forget.
