For those who do not know,I was diagnosed with colon cancer in April . I met with colorectal surgeons in Greenville who recommended an ileostomy . I wanted a 2nd opinion so we went to Duke cancer Institute hoping for a different opinion. We met with the chief of colorectal surgery and she advised that the ileostomy was my best option. Thank you for your prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻surgery scheduled for August. Love you all❤️ God has blessed me with 62 years. They may not have all been easy but he never promised that it would be. It’s the valley that you find yourself in that makes you truly appreciate the mountain top. I have faith that God will bring me through this valley because he has always been there for me. Just wanted to post an update that I have my colon cancer surgery on the 14th of August at Duke University Hospital. Please keep me in your prayers as I know God is in control.❤️
