I was diagnosed with Stage 2 metastatic breast cancer in April 2025. Assesment/Plan: Christina Michelle Sanfilippo is a 51 y.o. F with history of anxiety/depression, PTSD presenting with HR+/HER2- left multicentric breast cancer to discuss enrollment in ISPY2 study. Discussed her mammaprint shows tumor is low risk and luminal A. Discussed this means her tumor is less sensitive to chemotherapy and more sensitive to treatment with endocrine therapy. She is eligible for ISPY2 EOP arm given low genomic risk. Discussed study is neoadjuvant treatment with endocrine therapy for 6 months with close MRI monitoring for response prior to surgery. Double mastectomy & removal of tumor in axilla is scheduled for December 15, 2025. I have appointments with breast surgeon & plastic surgeon on November 18, 2025. I will have more details about the type of care I will need after the appointments & will post here with what type of help I will be needing. Mia & Devon are both here in New York with me, but will need support as this is an emotional time for us all.
