Recently, they had to undergo emergency surgery that resulted in the amputation of one of their toes. This was a sudden and life-changing event that has left them unable to work while they recover. The recovery process has been challenging, both physically and emotionally, and it has put a significant strain on their finances. Because out of work, they are struggling to keep up with regular bills and the added costs of prescriptions and medical care. They are doing my best to stay positive and focus on healing, but the financial stress is overwhelming at times. I am reaching out to my community for help during this difficult period.
