301 Group Mentoring is a weekly program that meets on Monday nights and serves the at-risk youth of North Idaho through the support of local Christian non-profit Juvenile Justice Outreach and the Kootenai County Juvenile Probation Department. 301's mission is to be a safe place of belonging and positivity where a youth can learn how to become a successful adult, build lifelong relationships and stay out of trouble. We gather a bunch of youth from inside and outside the Kootenai County Juvenile Justice System with a bunch of qualified, caring adult mentors in order to provide the positive role models our youth aren't likely getting anywhere else. Providing dinner for our youth is critically important, as nearly all of them come from low-income families struggling to make ends meet.
