Cooper Wilson Meal Train

Chillicothe, IL

Story

Exactly a year ago, Cooper was hospitalized for “respiratory failure” due to an asthma-like reaction he had because he was sick. We were there a week and he was sent home with an inhaler and an “Asthma Action Plan”, if it ever happened again. It didn’t, until March of this year. Thankfully that was just a couple of days he was in and back out. Now again today, he’s been admitted due to the same and put on high flow nasal cannula, after 3 albuterol treatments in an hour did nothing for him. What we have learned is that viruses are his trigger. Sometimes he’ll get a cold and fare well, other times his system becomes inflamed and the asthma symptoms start, most of the time once they start, they are hard to get under control without bringing him in. I know we have a village out there and everywhere so please, keep our sweet baby boy in your prayers. God can grant healing over his body and lungs so he can come home sooner than later and we believe He will. As you guys know we had a very eventful summer in the NICU with Riley, and another hospital stay is not what we want/need right now. Nevertheless, we trust Him and His plan for us and Cooper.

Special Notes
