Brian and Tracey Hartzog’s daughter, Cassidy, was hospitalized after experiencing a seizure that led to cardiac arrest. Her father, Brian, immediately began chest compressions and continued for nine minutes until paramedics arrived. Emergency responders then worked for an additional ten minutes before her heartbeat was restored. Cassidy spent time in the PICU and is now making encouraging progress as she continues her recovery in rehabilitation.
