For the last several months, my dad has struggled with reoccurring phemonia, difficulty standing, and persistent nausea. His doctor suspected he might have lung cancer and ordered a few scans. His symptoms got exponentially worse in as little as 2 weeks, prompting him to visit the emergency room where scans revealed he has cancer in both lungs. That cancer has since metastasized to his brain. This sounds really scary. And it is. But, the lesion in his brain can be corrected through 3 gamma radiation treatments that will likely be completed in one day! His lungs are a different and much more difficult story. He will need radiation and chemotherapy to tackle the cancer in both of his lungs. Our family is trying its best to remain positive while also embracing the uncertainly that comes with such a serious illness. Please continue to pray for our family and consider helping us care for my dad’s needs.
My dad has 3 dogs. Any donations to purchase them dog food, medicine, or other items, is deeply appreciated.
