To our friends out there, Mike and I have a special announcement…. Our baby girl Savannah surprised us and was born VERY early, on 7/18 at 6:23pm. I was not due until 10/1. We are elated and obviously concerned at the same time as 2.5 months premature is significant and comes with risks. The good news is that both Savannah and I are doing as well as possible given the circumstances. Savannah is being very well attended to in the NICU and is receiving excellent care. For the situation, she is doing really, really well. That being said, there is a long road ahead of us before we are out of the woods. We ask that you please keep your thoughts and prayers with Savannah as we do everything possible to get her through this so she can enjoy an amazing life. We don’t usually ask for help with much, but things are a bit crazy around here. We are selling our home, buying a new home, moving/renovating, and Mike is starting a new job the beginning of September. Anyone local that has some free time in the coming days/weeks and wants to donate a couple hours, we have plenty to do. This will help allow me to be at the hospital the maximum amount possible, and will hopefully allow Mike time to be there once a day. We dont anticipate Savannah coming home until some time between the middle of September to October. Thank you in advance! We can’t wait to get Savannah home and for everyone to meet her once she’s safe and healthy enough!
