Hello friends, family, neighbors, and strangers! Most of you know our story! We have had a very rough few years mostly involving my husband Billy and his health. A few years ago Billy had an accident at work and had to have major back surgery. He was out of work for over 2 years and we had little to no income during that time, then we found out he had a brain tumor, during which we noticed him having horrible headaches, focal seizures, memory issues and a lot more. Recently we realized he was losing more of his hearing at a rapid rate. We went to the ENT and found he had another tumor Cholesteatoma that was growing on his left ear drum. This was not a shock to us as he’s had this same type of tumor on both of his eardrums before. Because of said tumors he has 100 percent hearing loss in right ear and partial in the other. Now, this time he has almost no hearing at all. As we were getting reading for his surgery we got a call from the original surgeon on New Year’s Eve, the situation was a little more serious than we anticipated. In the simple way of explaining this Billy no longer has the bone in the ear that protects his ear and basically keep his brain/brain matter in her ear. This is what is causing all of his headaches and what we thought were seizures is him going in and out of consciousness. He needs a surgery to remove the tumor, repair his ear wall and close his entire ear canal. After he heals from this surgery he will have another surgery to place a cochlear implant to hopefully get his hearing back. Now while Billy does have a good job and insurance the are wanting us to pay a co-pay of $4,400. We do not have this amount of money just laying around. If we can pay a large part of this they are willing to give us a payment plan. We have paid $600 to far. His surgery is vastly approaching with the date of April 16th. I can provide receipts , Dr notes, payment ect for anyone wanting proof. Without this surgery it could mean death or longing ailments. We are reaching out to family and friends for a little help. We are also asking for a little help with food while we are at the hospital and when we return home. As always if you can not help we always appreciate your love, support, and prayers! Please share our story to help get this surgery. He is scared, the kids are scared, his mom and sister are scared.
