After an agonizing journey of having diagnosis of having benign tumors on my hip and sciatic nerve, that has had an grave impact on my quality of life. My team of doctors and have reached the decision that it is time to remove the tumors and do a total hip replacement. My surgery is July 17th , as this is good news , and I am excited about my healing. However I will be out of work for 6-12 weeks , the reality of the situation is I'm primarily a single parent , and I need to still care for my daughter. During my recovery, I will still have financial needs that short term disability won't cover .
