Hey everyone, I’ve got some tough news to share. My son-in-law, Dwayne Billingsley, was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. He’s married to my daughter, Jacquelyn, and they have three adorable daughters: 12, 8, and 5. Jacquelyn is a dedicated elementary teacher at a year-round school, and her job doesn’t give her much flexibility in terms of her work hours. Dwayne’s treatments will be at the UNC cancer center, which is about a 30-minute drive from their home in Hedingham, Raleigh. They could really use some help with a few things. They’d love some kid-friendly meals, a Lowe’s Foods home delivery gift card, transportation to get the kids to and from school, or even a gift certificate to a home cleaning service. Kids needing transportation right now: 12 year old to and from Oberlin Middle school and 5 year old to and from Arts Together Preschool.
