Kyle Devall & Family Meals

Springfield, LA

Story

Hi everyone, I am Lauren Livingston. My husband Maverick and I created this food train to help the Devall family during this trying time. What’s going on & how you can help: Kyle was sick with very high fever for over two weeks . After a visit to urgent care and two trips to the ER , he was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday , May 7th with no answers, after many test and countless days in discomfort they found a spot on his heart. He has a rare bacterial infection that is in the mitral valve of his heart . The infection has also attacked his muscles and joints. He was discharged from the hospital on the 13th, with home health , Physical Therapy and IV antibiotics . He’s still very weak, has loss 24 pounds and is unable to use his right leg at this time . He still has a long journey to recovery especially over the next 6-8 weeks! We are asking family and friends to sign up for meals during the requested times &/or send a gift card to cover the cost of groceries. As many of you know Kyle is the main provider for his family and Korie has been staying home with their sweet Baby Hallie. They appreciate anything at this time and are asking for little to no visitors. Kyle’s immunity is very low. Any illness can make his recovery more intense or longer. The main priority is to get him back to normal as soon as possible. Prayers are also appreciated during this time for healing, strength, courage and patience for Kyle and his family. With gratitude, Maverick & Lauren Livingston For any questions please text 225-287-8457
