Everyone who knows the Rice family is heartbroken and looking for ways to support these beautiful friends of ours. One thing we are hoping to take off Meghan's plate at this time is meal planning, and since so many have asked if they could help out in this way, we thought an app might be one of the easiest ways to organize those efforts. Whether it's a gift card, a home-cooked meal, or just some help with some prepped snacks, hopefully this tiny piece can ease some of the practical challenges of day-to-day life in the coming months. One logistical note -- Give in Kind is a nonprofit site that sustains itself with certain ads and wishlists. Please know we were just trying to pick a functional platform and there isn't one specific one that is perfect. We were able to select a few gift card options that we know Meghan, Lennon, and James like, but we cannot add local gift cards (Hannafords, Whole Foods, Golden Harvest/Carl's, local restaurants, etc.) that they might also enjoy. Please feel free to contribute those in whatever way works for you, and please just skip over any ads that don't seem relevant. Add comments if you have any questions or concerns with the content.
