Many people have asked for ways to support Shannan, Esme, and Frankie during this most heartbreaking time. Here is one place where we can all come together to honor Travis' life and to coordinate meals and other helpful services for his family, and also to respect Shannan's wishes and schedule. There has been a Go Fund Me page that has been set up to specifically support Shannan, Frankie and Esme with costs associated with the funeral, bills and general necessities as they navigate this heartbreak. The page can be found here: https://gofund.me/d805e15f. We want to give Esme, 3 years old, and Frankie, 8 months, something tangible to remember Travis, how much he was loved and how much he loved them. As you talk about his life with your friends and those that loved Travis, please feel free to write down any stories, memories, funny things - anything. We will compile these into a binder for Frankie and Esme. To get your memories to the right place either: 1) Bring to the memorial (tentatively scheduled for October 23rd) OR 2) Email to Jenny Rose Dill at [email protected] Thank you in advance for any contribution you can make. If you'd like to offer something that has not yet been "requested" please feel free to contact the organizers. If you’d like to donate to Shannan via Venmo, her account is: @Shannan-engel-1 If you’d like to send an e-giftcard, Shannan’s email is: [email protected]
Thank you to everyone who has offered their condolences, shared in the disbelief and offered help and kindness. That support and love is being felt at the Engel-Tornga house. As this is an extremely sensitive time for Shannan, we are being respectful of her privacy, and understanding that her and the girls' needs may change over coming hours, days, weeks etc. Therefore, there may be edits to this page so we can meet those needs as they arise. Meals: Shannan and her girls typically eat a low dairy diet and the baby, Frankie, has shown some intolerance to eggs. If it is possible, please note if your meal includes either dairy or eggs. However, since there are no significant allergies, if this is not a possibility - not to worry - your dish will be eaten and appreciated greatly. Thank you again for your compassion and warmth.
