Hello, My name is Sam and I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant and getting ready to go in for my induction any day. Unfortunately right now income has been cut due to having to be out of work for pregnancy and having uncontrollable blood sugar levels due to gestational diabetes. I applied for help through the state and currently under review for temporary disability which won’t be available until after Oct 19th if it’s available for me. I currently live with my sister who herself has a job but can’t afford to pay for food, taxes and electricity all on her own. She has helped me out with my pregnancy and the most I can do is try to help with what I can at the moment. We aren’t looking for anyone to pay our bills and finances, we are just in need for groceries so we have food in the house. This isn’t something I normally would do because everyone likes to judge but I wouldn’t do this if we really didn’t need the help at this time. Our main thing is getting help for food. We aren’t picky and anything will help us get through this month until my disability is approved or by the time I can go back to work in November.
