Liam was diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma in April of 2023. He had a biopsy, lumbar puncture, radiation, and a clinical trial at CHOP in Philadelphia. This all occurred from April-July 2023. He then returned home and did well until October 2023 when some slight progression started happening. December 2023 he went into full blown progression at that time Geisinger told us there was nothing more to be done and to work with hospice until the worst happened. We could not accept that and found a hospital willing to help our boy but now that means being away from home again for treatment and trying to manage being here and taking care of the other kids back home.
