Welcome to Vicki's Cancer Journey Support Page Vicki Freels, a beloved member of our community, is facing a challenging battle with cancer. In early April, she received the gut-wrenching news of her diagnosis, which has since been identified as breast cancer that has spread to multiple areas of her body, including her lymph nodes, liver, back, and brain. Despite the severity of her diagnosis, Vicki remains strong, supported by her loving family and friends. This page serves as a central hub for updates on her journey and a place where we can come together to offer our prayers, support, and assistance. Please join us in lifting Vicki and her family up in prayer for positive outcomes in her treatment. We also invite you to explore the ways you can support Vicki during this time, whether it's through offering rides to her appointments, providing nourishing meals, or simply sending words of encouragement. Current Needs: 1. Prayer: Please keep Vicki and our family in your thoughts and prayers. 2. Transportation: As Vicki's condition prevents her from driving, we are seeking volunteers to assist with transportation to and from appointments. 3. Meal Delivery: Help us sustain Vicki and Doug with nourishing meals during this challenging time. 4. In-Person Caregiving: Friends and family are invited to join us in Savannah, TN, to provide much-needed assistance with transportation, household tasks such as cleaning and cooking, and emotional support for Vicki. Your presence and help will be deeply appreciated and will lighten the burden of caregiving during this challenging time.
