Welcome to the world, the Martinez Twins, born on December 3, 2023 at 28 weeks. Ethan and Lucas have had a rough time right from the start. At 17 weeks they were diagnosed with twin to twin transfusion syndrome that required fetal ablation surgery. After a successful procedure they continued growing, with weekly check ups. They were too eager to make their appearance that they decided 28 weeks was their time. After an emergency c-section, the boys were born healthy but oh so tiny; Ethan 2lbs 6 oz and Lucas 2 lbs 3 oz. For 73 days they fought for their life with many ups and downs. After 73 days in NICU, they get to go home and their family can finally be whole again.
