Story
Dear Bowl Sisters, As many of you know, Ann Capella has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. This journey has brought a number of challenges, including fatigue and difficulty keeping up with daily tasks—especially cooking. To help ease the burden on Ann and to ensure she has nourishing meals during this time, we’ve set up a Meal Train. This is a way for us to come together and offer practical support through home-cooked meals or restaurant delivery. Here’s how you can help: Sign up for a date to bring or send a meal. Please check for any dietary restrictions or preferences listed on the page. If you’re unable to cook, gift cards or meal delivery services are also welcome. Even one meal can make a big difference. Your kindness and support will mean the world to Ann right now. With gratitude, Mary Churchill
Special Notes
According to Ann's friend, Matt: Just not spicy. She likes lots of vegetables, no raw onions. She loves broccoli. She likes all kinds of beans. Loves Salmon. Even smoked salmon. Not a fan of beef or sausage. She likes salad greens like arugula and spinach. She likes beets. And she likes berries, like blueberries.
