Helping Barbara through breast cancer is being created because Barbara needs a little extra help to get her (and her cats) through chemotherapy. She found out she had stage 1 breast cancer in late summer and had a lumpectomy in September. She's now in the middle of chemotherapy which keeps throwing new side effects at her each injection. The main problem is taking care of her cats which has to be done every day but only takes about 30 to 445 min. Secondary problems are making sure she eats (she's lost at least 10 lbs!) and having transportation to the ocology center, which is on Ford St and Beaver lab at 2 Fern st.
