Ruby’s Cancer Journey Support Page

Yelm, WA

Story

As most of you already know, Ruby was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in April and had her first dose of chemotherapy on March 27th. When we were given her diagnosis, it didn’t seem real but the reality was so sobering. Since Ruby’s diagnosis, she’s has had 2 rounds of chemo and she’s been smiling through it all. Ruby has received lots of prayers, so much love, and lots of support from everyone! Your generous donations have help us raise more than half of our financial goal, and because of that Ruby’s family has been able to pay for her treatment. Thank you, thank you, thank you! To date, the mass has shrunk in size so much that the doctors are unable to measure it! The original measurement of the mass was about 5” and it went down to 3” just a few days after her first dose. Ruby is kicking cancers BUTT! She lost all of her hair and had her second dose of chemo today, June 17th. She’s feeling the side effects of the chemo more this time than the last time and is at home resting. We’ve only begun to fight and Ruby still has a long way to go. With that in mind, I’m trying to be proactive and find other ways that we can help, which is why I’ve created this support page. If you’d still like to donate, there’s a link for her GoFundMe available here. I’ll continue to keep everyone update on her status as we find out more. Please continue to keep Ruby in your prayers. Your love and support means the world to all of us. Again, thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do. ❤️
