Story
Wyatt James Lewis was born on March 21st at 6:39 pm weighing 8 lbs 12 oz and measuring 21.5 inches long. Wyatt was admitted to the NICU unexpectedly on the day we were supposed to be sent home. Wyatt suffered a perinatal ischemic stroke during delivery which resulted in seizures. Wyatt has been on continuous EEG monitoring and anti-seizure medication. He is eating like a champ and now weighs almost 10 lbs. He is breathing on his own and all of his vitals remain excellent. Wyatt was discharged from the NICU after 5 days. He is home now learning to adjust to his new life. He is such a happy baby! Please help us pray for our sweet boy! We pray that he remain seizure free and that he continues to meet milestones just like his peers.
Special Notes
Please let us know if you would like to visit ahead of time. We will be limiting visitors during this first month to protect Wyatt and be able to monitor him closely. We want to keep our sweet boy healthy so once visitation is allowed we will be asking that you only join us if you’re feeling well. Please stay home if you’re showing any signs of illness. We will also ask that hand washing and sanitizing occur and that kisses are kept to yourself. Thank you for understanding and respecting our wishes.
