Some of you may already know that over the December holidays, our Adult Ballet Program Director, instructor and dear friend, Julie Lowe, was re-diagnosed with breast cancer. She will be having surgery in the coming weeks, and will be taking some time away from teaching in order to complete the surgery and learn what her future treatment will entail. Her goal is to keep the adult program running seamlessly so that all of our wonderful students can continue to dance without interruption, and to return to teaching as soon as she is able. Of course, this leave of absence, in addition to the medical expenses, will take a toll on Julie's finances. It is our hope to elevate some of that financial burden so that she can focus instead, on healing.
