From Amanda: Right before Christmas we learned that Caleb has a cancerous tumor (an intermediate Myxoid liposarcoma) in his lower leg. After testing (and more testing…) we learned that the cancer has not spread above the knee which is our biggest praise so far! After an appointment today he has been referred to a Medical Oncologist and Radiation Oncologist. Hoping to start radiation as soon as possible and then surgery to remove the tumor as soon as we’re done with radiation. We need prayers for healing, of course, but also for our family to be able to navigate the coming months of cancer treatments and surgery recovery. We are praising God that we have competent doctors and that we live so close to excellent cancer treatment centers. My aunt said it best today: God is good, even in cancer.
