Loving Elizabeth

Story

Dear Family and Friends- Thank you for your love and support for our family, especially your prayers for Elizabeth, John, John III and Olivia during this most difficult time. On Monday 6/14, Elizabeth suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke (aka a brain bleed) and is currently in the SICU at Bayonet Point Regional Hospital. She is showing signs of improvement, for which we are praising the Lord. We know this is in part due to the amazing outpouring of prayers, love, and support that she has received from those who love her. Many of you have asked how you can help and we are so grateful! Right now, John is asking for volunteers to stay with Elizabeth during visiting hours (12-6) at the hospital. We know that there will be many days that John and the kids will want to be at the hospital all day, but right now with the overwhelming nature of all that is going on, things are truly on being handled minute by minute. I’m sure you can understand. We’ve created a schedule at the below website as we want to make sure that there is always someone there to hold her hand and talk to her each time she opens her eyes. We have split this up into 2 shifts 11:45 am- 3pm and 3pm-6pm. John and the kids will be there as often as possible, but knowing that a loved one is always there will give great relief to them. If you would like to get on the visiting schedule you can click on the calendar and pick a day and time or just call Alexandria( 407 929 6626) and she will add you to the day you wish to help.
