Please share & join Team Sonya 💖 Sonya is one of Benson Sweetest Gal’s. As many of you may know she is fighting Ovarian Cancer. Sonya has a mass as big as a softball. Sonya’s sweet Mom & Dad take care of Sonya & Sonya’s love of her life, her son Eddie. Sonya has started chemo & goes to Tucson 3 times a week for treatment/chemo. Sometimes more trips can be needed. Sonya is one of the most Amazing Mom’s I know & still does all she can to take care of her son Eddie who is 12. As many of you know chemotherapy can make you very sick. At this time Sonya is receiving a lot of chemo to shrink the large mass ( softball size). Happy to report Dr’s checked to see if it had spread to stomach & thankfully it has not. I asked family if I may set up a - Meal Train for dinners & they are beyond grateful for the support. Sonya & her family have a lot of faith & positive attitudes that Sonya will beat Ovarian Cancer! Friends & family of Team Sonya also have a lot of faith Sonya will beat Ovarian Cancer. So many trips to Tucson for treatments & Dr appts it is a lot as you all know. When I asked Sonya about food options, she said “ whatever Eddie likes” awe so precious!! This will be set up until end of August & then we will go from there. Options - Dinners dropped off at home on front porch bench between 5pm & 6pm. ( drop off only at this time in case Sonya not feeling well or resting) Eddie loves “ pizza & Burger King” however family is grateful for dinners dropped off of different kinds & even groceries for Lunch Meals ( Sandwiches) Different Options to help family -Team Sonya ; * Dinners or Lunch options dropped off at their home * Deliveries from any Restaurants in town * Gift Cards for any restaurants in Benson or Tucson. * Grocery gift cards are appreciated as well, if you are unable to drop off meals at home. * Gas Cards are even appreciated * Bring Cash or Cards to me to take to family or drop off on Bench ( let me know so family is aware) * Any & all support is so so appreciated! Rosa’s is taking Sonya to treatments, helping with Eddie’s needs, grocery shopping, cooking meals, doing so much, is so grateful for the support! Sonya’s Dad helps a lot as well! Eddie helps Rosa w/grocery shopping. It’s been a family working together for Sonya to beat Cancer !!! However the family would love & appreciate any help at this time. They are very thankful that I asked to set this up for them. I love how our town comes together to help each other. So let’s all come together to help & support Sonya fight against ovarian Cancer!
