Update: Cheryl’s status is now Stage 3 bc. She will skip radiation and go straight to chemo. 6/6/24 Cheryl (Hays-Spore-Yoder) was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer and underwent a Lumpectomy on Friday, April 5, 2024. 4-5 weeks of radiation treatment will begin soon as there were pre-cancerous cells found around the tumor during the lumpectomy. Chemo may still be an option after results from the tumor come back. Several of y’all have reached out asking how you can help. First and foremost, Cheryl asks ONLY for your prayers; for we know our God is the ultimate healer and has her in the palm of His hands every step of the way. However, for those wanting to bless Cheryl beyond prayers, a meal and ‘feel-good’ warm fuzzy train has been created to let her know just how much she is loved.
