This page is an effort to garner support for Lauren specifically during the next two months while her father is undergoing daily radiation with chemo. For those of you who don't know, Lauren's father was recently diagnosed in December with advanced bladder cancer. Her mother was diagnosed in November with appendix cancer and is recovering from multiple emergency surgeries. Both parents are living with her. She is also the full time single parent to Orion (age 8) and Arianna (age12). Lauren will be driving her father in and out of NYC to Memorial Sloan Kettering on a daily basis until mid April. Following chemo until at least mid May, Lauren will be caring for her father while he is recovering at home. She needs all kinds of support in the coming weeks. Sending meals and/or food, offering rides for her children, gift cards or pharmacy runs etc is going to be especially helpful to her. Emotional support, cards and prayers go a long way as well.
