Ms. Kirstie is the Pea Pods teacher at Holly Springs Academy and has been with us for 3 years. She has been a great asset to our HSA team. Sadly, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in late August. Fortunately, her medical team feels that with treatment her cancer is very treatable as well as curable. As such, her treatments will begin on September 9th which will be several rounds of chemo and radiation before moving to surgical removal of the cancer. With her chemotherapy beginning, Ms. Kirstie will be out of work until the beginning of October. As you can imagine, life for Ms. Kirstie has changed drastically for she and her family in such a short amount of time. We have set up this page to allow our friends and family to help support her in her time of need. Currently, Ms. Kirstie has health insurance however, with all her appointments having co-pays her out of pocket expense has already increased significantly. There are all types of options listed within the page to support her in some way.
