Vicente's Village - Sharing Support, One Bite at a Time

Santa Ana, CA

Story

Andres and Krystal are joyfully preparing to welcome baby Vicente into the world! As they settle into this new chapter of parenthood, we’d love to surround them with care and nourishment from their community. This page is a way to coordinate simple, helpful support—especially meals—so they can focus on bonding, resting, and adjusting to life with a newborn. Whether you’re dropping off a homemade favorite, sending delivery, or offering a warm message of encouragement, every gesture helps. Thank you for being part of Vicente’s Village! We’ll update this page as their needs evolve. For now, Andres and Krystal are focusing on rest and family bonding, so please plan for contactless drop-offs.

Special Notes

🥘 Food Preferences and Restrictions: No fried or greasy foods or deli meats. Lots of whole food vegetable-based dishes, fruits, smoothies, salads, seeds, nuts (Andres is allergic to almonds unless cooked), stews, legumes, pasta, limited sugar, and high protein based foods. We love all types of cuisines too, just not too spicy as Krystal will be breastfeeding. Let’s help keep this amazing mama nourished and hydrated during these early newborn days! 💛 Here are some of Krystal’s favorite grab-and-go goodies that really hit the spot: 🥤 Hydrating drinks - coconut water, electrolyte drinks with natural juices like KOR, REBBL/Remedy protein drinks, or herbal teas- cold or hot 🍓 Fresh fruit (washed & ready to eat!) - All fruits, especially mango, pineapple, avocado, cantaloupe, pomegranate, papaya, peaches, apples, pears, all types of berries, persimmons, etc 🥜 Easy protein like hard-boiled eggs, nuts, granola, oats with nut butter, acai bowls, low sodium whole fat cottage cheese, plain whole fat yogurt, kefir, chia pudding, cheese & multigrain crackers, or snack bars like Go Macro/ RX 🍼 Lactation cookies or brownies 🍚 Nourishing meals that reheat well - rice bowls, pasta bowls, roasted veggies, mild proteins like low-mercury seafood cooked or raw, tofu, tempeh, beef, chicken, ground turkey, edamame
